TOWARDS A STRATEGIC PERSPECTIVE FOR CURRICULUM REFORM IN THE ARAB WORLD

It has become widespread in modern and contemporary educational heritage that “educational curricula” are the most influential in light of a developmental renaissance in a particular society، especially in the Arab world. Because of the importance of the latter، we have tried in this paper entitled: ((Towards a strategic perspective for reforming educational curricula in the Arab world)) to shed light on the following set of scientific and objective goals: First، to look at educational curricula as: a set of methods defined by objectives. Destined to attain education to the Supreme، as the foundation for human development. Then، secondly: highlighting the negative reality of the Arab educational curricula: in terms of their focus on indoctrination methods، and their neglect of a number of other activities، in terms of skills، talents، and free creativity. Finally: Focusing on the most important reform strategies: in terms of trying to implement some changes in the school curricula، and from there making education and teaching in the Arab world more meaningful and effective
