Abstract

This paper examines the relationship between the concept of sovereignty—long associated with traditional notions—and the rapid global evolution driven by advancements in telecommunications and the emergence of modern digitalization. It further explores the link between sovereignty and cybersecurity، analyzing how states safeguard their national security. National security is no longer confined to geographic، aerial، or maritime boundaries; it now extends to protecting state interests in an era of sophisticated digital technologies، where state data is increasingly vulnerable to cyberattacks
