Requirements for Using Internet of Things Technology to Improve Education Quality from the Perspective of a Sample of Faculty Members at the College of Education, University of Bani Waleed

The study aimed to identify the necessary requirements for using Internet of Things technology to improve the quality of education by surveying the opinions of faculty members at the College of Education, University of Bani Waleed. . To achieve the objectives of the study, the two researchers used the descriptive analytical approach, as it is the most appropriate. The study was applied to a sample of 50. A faculty member, the two researchers, used the questionnaire as a tool for the study, as it consisted of three main axes: educational requirements, which contained 10 items; administrative requirements, which contained 11 items; and technical requirements, which contained 8 items. The results showed that there were no statistically significant differences. Based on the gender variable and years of experience, there were differences with regard to the academic degree variable with respect to the participants’ responses to the questionnaire as a whole and to each of the axes. In light of what resulted, the participants’ agreement was to a large degree on the educational requirements, administrative requirements, and technical requirements, based on that, the study recommended holding several courses and workshops to train the targeted individuals in educational institutions on the use of Internet of Things technolog.
